GHRP-2 is a synthetic hexapeptide growth hormone secretagogue. It is one of the most potent GHRPs and has been used in clinical research for GH deficiency diagnosis.

Mechanism of Action

Binds ghrelin/GHS receptors in the pituitary and hypothalamus, stimulating GH release. Also stimulates appetite and increases cortisol and prolactin (less selective than ipamorelin).

Benefits

  • Potent GH release in human subjects
  • Used diagnostically for GH deficiency assessment
  • Increases appetite and food intake
  • Improved sleep quality in some studies
